Message	I first thought mine was broken as when i turned my lights on, the clock would dim, but I later found out it's a feature (I came from POS rustbucket boxes before buying a real car). My radio does this too when the wire is connected (orange I think). You could probably get rid of this "feature" by snipping one of the wires but I don't know which one it is. Regardless, I highly doubt it's the reasoning behind your cluster and/or HIDs.
